Thermal properties and warmth

Sleep on aluminized side, facing the sleeping bag with foam side on the ground to minimize losses of body heat.
R-Value 1.2 (measured by EMPA, an independent laboratory).
The R-Value is a measure of thermal performance and insulation. The higher the R-Value, the more the mattress insulates you from the cold ground.
An R-Value of 5.9 is equivalent to a minimum temperature rating of approximately -11°F. 0.7 is equivalent to a temperature rating of +52°F.

The sleeping comfort, also known as “postural comfort,” of the mattresses is defined by our Research and Development Center. All our mattresses are subjected to mechanical tests to check the performance and resistance of the mattress in order to guarantee you the best sleep and the best recovery. We also carry out numerous field tests in real-life conditions.

Do not machine wash the mattress. Wipe with a damp sponge when needed. To dry, stretch out in a dry and well-ventilated place without exposing to the sun or close to a heat source.
