The properties of polyamide

Polyamide offers excellent abrasion and tear resistance. Furthermore, this synthetic fiber is not susceptible to microorganisms or mold.

Isn’t my hat UV proof?

Don’t worry, the fabric used for this hat blocks UVs with a UPF over 50 (therefore excellent protection). Despite this, the standards also impose a certain coverage to be able to claim the product is UV proof. The brim of this sun hat is not sufficiently wide to meet the required standards. Nevertheless, your scalp will be well protected.

How do you measure a fabric’s quick drying capacity?

The product is machine washed 3 times, then line dried, then we immerse it in water and measure how long it takes to get back to its pre-wash weight.
