Our team of backpacking enthusiasts has developed this sturdy 90 L bag (+ 10 L extra height) for men traveling autonomously in the mountains for several days

CAPACITY

Expandable volume: 90 L + 10 liters extension (5192.1 in³ + 610.2 in³) thanks to adjustable-height upper lid.
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method:
We fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls.
The balls are then emptied into a graduated container to establish the equivalent volume in liters, within a few percentage points

How do I pack my backpack?

Put your bedding at the bottom.
Place heavy equipment (tent, stove, food) near your back.
Pack your clothes around these items.
The groundsheet can be placed under the flap; the tent can be placed under the bag if there’s no room inside.
Keep a waterproof jacket and fleece at hand.
In the pockets, place small items for the day (sunscreen, map, glasses…).
The water bladder should be placed in the specially designed compartment normally found down the back of the bag.

Why are our rain covers gray when some backpackers would prefer bright colors?

The gray-colored cover used for our backpacking backpacks is neutral and therefore uses less dye.
The component is made of BITON: this process helps us limit our carbon emissions and reduce water pollution and consumption compared to colored models. Through these kind of small steps, Forclaz demonstrates its commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its products.

SYMBIUM technology

In order to be comfortable, a backpack must also be well-balanced while you walk. Symbium technology consists of a hinged waist strap that allows the backpack to adapt to the trekker’s movements when hiking.
Symbium technology means an end to the instability and see-sawing that puts a strain on the backpacker.

10-year warranty

Our engineers have carried out simulated aging tests on these backpacks.
These tests were conducted on the components, seams and finished product.
The results of these tests allow FORCLAZ to guarantee their bags for 10 years from the purchase date shown on the receipt
