What do we mean by a compressible visor?

The visor on this cap – unlike most caps – doesn’t have a rigid (and, therefore, brittle) plastic insert but is made from expandable foam (EVA). What makes this soft foam so unique is that it doesn’t break and returns to its original shape, even after folding.

Why use a ripstop fabric?

The crosshatched fabric is a mesh-type fabric. The warp and weft design helps ensure durability and prevent potential tears and stop tears.
It is therefore particularly durable compared to a smooth canvas, for example.
