We choose and test the components of our soles to best adapt to the practice of hiking on loose off-road terrain (like an earthy forest path) or hard, stony trails (like a rocky coastal path). Use on the road (asphalt) may lead to premature wear on your soles.
We do not recommend using them on mountain footpaths on very hilly terrain.
