The inside of your pants is brushed, a process known to preserve heat. The principle is simple: the component weave is structured to add volume to trap air, naturally insulating. It is exactly the same principle as animal fur or feathers.

What is water repellency and how can you maintain it?

The water-repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. In this way, the fabric does not soak up water and therefore remains lightweight, breathable and warm. Water repellency is obtained by a treatment applied on the outer surface of the fabric. This treatment needs to be renewed during the lifetime of the garment (we recommend each wash). Products (spray or liquid) designed specifically for this purpose are available in our stores.

In the winter, you need to be protected both from the damp (snow, rain) and wind, as the latter cools the body down a lot, both when exercising and resting. We have designed your pants with an outer wind-proof fabric with water-repellent treatment, to withstand winter conditions. We’ve also added lace fasteners to protect you from snow ingress.

To dress properly in winter, whatever your activity, we recommend using the 3-layer principle:
layer 1: The high-tech base layer transfers moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry.
layer 2: The second layer (fleece, sweater) provides warmth and transfers moisture outward.
layer 3: The jacket protects you from outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind.
The whole outfit must be breathable in order to eliminate moisture.

Will my pants withstand regular use over a long period?

To check the durability of our products, we carry out tests on the components selected: resistance to rubbing and abrasion, colorfastness, resistance to repeated washing. All these tests have been carried out on the component used for these pants.

How does my product warranty work?

This product is guaranteed for 2 years from the date shown on the sales receipt. A product covered by the warranty will be exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and improper use.
