Durability of the components

Abrasion and friction resistance test: for example, we carry out laboratory tests to check that the fleeces do not pill. Colorfastness test: we check colorfastness to ensure that colors do not bleed when coming into contact with saliva. Aging test: repeated washing must not alter the fabric’s original properties, including its shape, thickness or appearance.

Sun protection

The best protection against the sun is fabric: go for long sleeves, pants and a hat with a wide brim. Warning: simply wearing a T-shirt does not provide adequate protection: the thickness of the fabric, the density of the knit and even the color will affect the percentage of UV rays that are filtered. The UPF 40+/ 50+ LABEL guarantees compliance with European Standards. UPF 40+ means that 97.5% of rays are blocked, 50+ means that 98% of rays are blocked.

Clothing remains the best form of protection from the sun’s rays: preferably wear long sleeves, pants and hats with wide brims. Machine washable at 86°F maximum. Do not exceed the maximum machine load, as this can damage fabrics and wear them out faster. Softener: no restrictions. Do not bleach. Air-dry only. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
