Designed for the young hiker, the fit is adapted to their body shape and is suitable for several days. A partner you can also take to summer camp!
Our hiker designers have developed this 40-liter backpack for day-long hikes, in dry weather on technical trails
Laboratory test
Components are approved in laboratory tests, including: fabrics, buckles, straps, foam padding, zips, etc. For example, for a fabric: resistance to abrasion & tearing, colorfastness in UV light, resistance to washing, waterproofing, etc. Then a test is conducted on the finished product replicating forces on the backpack over a number of years to check the strength of assemblies: the backpack is weighted, then placed on a dummy that reproduces the movement of fast walking over thousands of cycles
10-year warranty, technical partnership
The warranty covers any defects to the backpack, excluding those resulting from normal wear and improper use. This special 10-year warranty will only be granted upon presentation of the receipt and the product. If the product is covered by warranty, it will be repaired or exchanged, free of charge. This sales warranty does not affect the statutory rights applicable in your country/state.
How is backpack volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: we fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in liters.
Environmental measures
The product’s environmental impact is calculated over its entire lifespan, using various indicators. An overall score is assigned from A to E to help easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks etc). Decathlon is committed to displaying environmental information about its products. For more information: http://developpement-durable.decathlon.com/

Care Instructions
To ensure fabrics maintain their properties (particularly the waterproofing), we do not recommend washing them in the washing machine, tumble drying them, dry-cleaning them or using bleach. Do not iron. To clean your backpack by hand, use warm soapy water and a brush if needed. After a few years of use, you should renew the water-repellent properties of the fabric using a waterproofing spray.
