Water-repellent properties

Functional feature achieved by applying a hydrophobic water-repellent treatment to the fabric. This process prevents water from sticking to the surface of the fabric thereby reducing its ability to absorb water. When we add the idea of movement, the water can then slide over the fabric so we characterize this phenomenon as water repellency. Thanks to the water-repellent feature, water does not soak into the outer fabric and the jacket stays light and dries faster.

Windproof

It is very important to protect yourself from the wind, when moving/stationary, because of the wind’s chilling effect. According to the ‘Windchill’ model, which measures the temp. felt under the influence of wind and cold: for a temperature of 41°F, combined with a wind speed of 20 mph, the temp. felt will be 32°F.
