PHOTOCHROMIC TECHNOLOGY

The color of the so-called “photochromic” lenses varies according to the amount of UV rays.
The activation time to change from the light tint to the dark tint (categories 2 to 4) is about 1 minute. The deactivation time to change from the dark tint to the light tint is about 3 minutes at room temperature (73°F).
The lenses adapt directly to the amount of UV light emitted outdoors to provide better protection for the wearer according to the weather conditions.

ANTI-FOG TREATMENT – EXCLUSIVE DECATHLON INNOVATION

The lenses of the MH580 photochromic glasses benefit from new a technology that reduces fogging.
Unlike most anti-fog technologies, this is permanent, i.e. it does not decline over time.
The coating absorbs condensation like a sponge, maintaining clear vision while hiking. Under certain very challenging conditions, some condensation may appear on the glasses for a short while

CLEANING THE LENSES

To clean the anti-fog lenses properly, use water with or without liquid soap and rub gently with your fingers. When drying, dab the lenses with a microfiber cloth without rubbing.
Leave to dry and remove any remaining marks with a dry microfiber cloth.
