Our motivation? To offer you a comfortable and accessorized bag to make the most of your hikes. Its 11 pockets will guarantee you a good organization of your things for your daily life
Our designers have designed this NH Escape 150 16-liter backpack for your occasional hikes on the plain, in the forest, on the coast, and also for your daily life
Our commitment to consume less water
We have improved this product with an eco-design approach.
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. We dye every other thread to reduce water consumption and water pollution.
To reduce our impact on the environment, we choose the method of dyeing in the mass, by integrating the color pigments from the manufacture of the yarn (black color, reference: 8649501).
How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: We fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in liters. The capacity of the main volume of this bag is 16 L.
We also measured the volume with the 2 exterior side water bottle pockets, whereby its total capacity increases to 17 L.
Developed based on your feedback, tested with hikers
This bag was designed based on all the customer feedback and hikers’ observations.
Indeed, the idea is to offer a multi-purpose backpack that you can use during your walks, hikes, and all your everyday journeys.
This bag offers you two different and comfortable carrying modes, i.e. on the back or in the hand, with its 2 large ergonomic handles.
How to adjust your backpack
1 – Loosen the shoulder straps
2 – Put the loaded bag on your back, and make sure it is well balanced
3 – Tighten the shoulder straps
4 – Walk a few yards and lightly swing the bag on your back
5 – Adjust the straps one last time
How to fill your backpack
Put your heavy items at the bottom. Pack your clothes around these items. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece within arm’s reach. Place small items for daily use (sunblock, map, glasses, etc.) in the pockets.
The water bottle will be put in one of the outside pockets provided for this purpose or inside in the main compartment.
Tested for optimum durability and strength
We carry out several laboratory tests to validate the bag’s components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, zippers. For example, for a fabric, we test the resistance to abrasion and tearing, colorfastness when exposed to UV light and washing, and waterproofing. We also conduct tests to check the resistance of assembly using a dummy that reproduces the movements of a hiker to replicate several years of wear and tear on the bag.
