Our hiker designers have designed this NH500 Escape rolltop 23 L backpack with flap to take on hikes or wear every day.

Our commitment to consume less water

We have improved this product with an eco-design approach.
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. We dye every other yarn to reduce our consumption and impact on water.
To reduce our impact on the environment, we choose the method of mass dyeing by integrating the color pigments in the manufacture of the yarn (for the gray color, reference: 8736382).

Your comfort above all

To make the most of your hikes, we put comfort at the heart of our product design.
The thickness and structure of different foams covered with 3D mesh to improve ventilation and drying means that the back, shoulder straps, and handle are comfortable.
Back: 5 pads, composed of 2 different foams (PE – PU) 0.6″ thick.
Straps: composed of 2 different foams (EVA – PU) 8 to 13 mm thick.
The chest strap is adjustable in height and width, with cushioning.

The components of the bag are water-repellent, which will allow you to temporarily continue your walk/hiking in light rain. Caution: This backpack is not waterproof/airtight and does not come with a rain cover.

Tested for optimum durability and strength

To ensure that your bag is durable, laboratory tests are conducted on components and assemblies, simulating the aging of backpacks.
For example, for a fabric, we test the resistance to abrasion and tearing, the color fastness when exposed to UV light and washing, and the waterproofing.
These tests allow us to guarantee the tested bags for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase indicated on the receipt.

How to adjust your backpack

1 – Loosen all straps, shoulder straps, and chest belt
2 – Put on the bag
3 – Buckle the chest belt, adjust its height and width
4 – Tighten the shoulder straps (from top to bottom)
5 – Adjust to fit

How is volume measured?

The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: We fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in liters.

How to fill your backpack

Place heavy equipment, such as computers and picnic lunches, at the bottom in the designated areas. Pack your clothes around these items. In the pockets, divide small equipment of the day (phone, sunscreen, map, glasses, keys, wallet, etc.). The water bottle(s) will be placed in the outer side pockets provided for this purpose.
