How will this jacket keep kids warm?

This jacket is filled with insulation. The fill is made from a synthetic component obtained by blending polyester fibers. The amount of air trapped depends on the size of the fibers. For the same mix of fibers, the thicker the fill, the more air is trapped, the warmer it is.

How does your jacket protect you from outdoor conditions?

Your jacket is designed with a waterproof outer component that keeps out water and wind. To keep you warm in winter you must also protect your extremities (head, hands, feet). The warm and waterproof hood, elasticated tightening on the cuffs, and high collar keep the cold out. 2 pockets protect your hands from the cold.

How to dress properly for snow hiking

To dress properly in winter, whatever your activity, we recommend using the 3-layer principle:
layer 1: The high-tech base layer transfers moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry.
layer 2: The 2nd layer (fleece, sweater) provides warmth and transfers moisture outward.
layer 3: The jacket protects you from outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind.
The whole outfit must be breathable in order to eliminate moisture.

How can you be sure your jacket is 100% waterproof?

Your jacket is designed with a waterproof outer component that keeps out water and wind (3,000 Schmerbers before washing).
The reversible side is not waterproof.

What is the meaning of: “Taped main seams”?

The seams of a jacket can be taped to prevent water from entering that area.
Here, the main seams are taped, which matches the seams of the hood, collar, shoulders, armholes, and chest.

The fabric is made waterproof and windproof by applying a coating or membrane to the inside. Indeed, a waterproof fabric has the necessary technical characteristics to be considered windproof. How to preserve the technical qualities of your jacket
