These warm, water-repellent pants were designed to reduce their environmental impact. They give kids comfort and protection on their cold weather hikes.

Our teams developed these pants for kids who hike occasionally in cold weather.

Fleece component: Insulated with air

The fleece component is designed to trap air in the space formed by its texture; This air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm. It is the brushing of the knit fabric that traps the air.

Component water-resistance

A fabric’s water-repellent property is its capacity to make water run off its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm, and breathable. The water-repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric’s exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment’s lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products are available for this purpose in our stores.

Warmth : Pants lined with a 6.3 oz/m² fleece component to provide warmth

Water repellent : Water runs off the component to protect it from a short, light shower.

Windproof : Windproof fabric that prevents air from entering to reduce heat loss.

Stability : Elasticated waistband that holds the pants in place during practice.

Ecodesign : We have reduced environmental impact by dyeing the thread before weaving it.

Durability : Component that is resistant to abrasion when in contact with natural elements.
