The sole design is the product of a lengthy research and development process conducted in our laboratories, combined with a special rubber formulation to optimize grip and traction. Field test

All our shoes are tested for initial comfort and comfort in use by typical users and under the same conditions found in use. Our Missions Tests link the product manager up with people who are not affiliated to Quechua to test, develop and approve the products.

Laboratory Testing

Other laboratory tests are also conducted to pass the following: tearing resistance of the eyelets and straps, resistance of adhesives, toxicology, UV resistance, to abrasion of the outsole and upper components, accelerated aging.

Buying tips

Try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking.
Try on several models or sizes if necessary.
Check two comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down.
Avoid all pressure points when trying them on. Always walk around the store. Wear your shoes in gradually during the first hikes, to mold them to your foot.

Breathability : Highly breathable mesh upper, perforated sole to draw moisture away from feet.
